Feline van Doorn signs with Franklin Pierce University

Feline van Doorn moves from HC Barendrecht to Franklin Pierce University to play for the school’s Field Hockey team this summer. The 17-year-old attacker signed a contract to join the school in Rindge, New Hampshire, which is located about 65 miles west of Boston.

She is currently playing her games in the region of South-Holland, but in three months she will be travelling to New York and Connecticut to play her games in the Northeast-10 conference. Exciting times ahead of her which includes long bus trips to compete all over the country.

Franklin Pierce University concluded the 2017 season with a 6th place in the conference by winning 10 out of the total 17 games. The team of head coach Zoe Adkins is looking to improve their winning record next season with the goal to finish at the top of the conference to clinch a spot in the playoffs to compete for the National Championship.

Feline’s job is to carry the team with her unbelievable drive to score goals. With an average of more than 25 goals per season over the last few seasons, Franklin Pierce has signed a real killer with Feline.

Feline will move to Rindge, New Hampshire in August. Rindge is a small and cozy town with approximately 6,000 residents, located just an hour outside of Boston.

We wish her all the best on this journey. Of course we continue to follow her and share her experiences. Follow us on social media and keep informed of all the adventures and success of our talents!
