Wessel Albers won’t be the only KingsTalent-athlete who will play for William Woods next season. Billy Nzojyibwami has put pen to paper and will join the men’s soccer team after the summer, which means William Woods have got their wanted man.
By signing Wessel and Billy, Head Coach Nathan Mason aims for a strong campaign next season, including participation the NAIA national championship. After an incredible season last year , William Woods secured an outstanding unbeaten record with ten victories and just a single draw. However, in the opening round of the nationals Lindsey Wilson College were to strong and beaten the Owls 5-2. A huge blow to the quality side, who are without question favorites for their conference titel for the upcoming campaign.
Billy, who joined hoofdklasser IFC Ambacht last summer, used to play for ASWH. After progressing through the youth ranks Billy claims a spot in the club’s first team, playing in the third division, which behind the Eredivisie and the Jupiler League is the third highest soccer level in the Netherlands. Billy is well known as a true goalscorer. In 108 games between 2013 and 2017 Billy managed to pick up 83 goals and 52 assists.
If Billy can produce comparable numbers at William Woods there’s no question that he will play a big part in Nathan Mason’s side. KingsTalent would like to wish Billy good luck in Fulton, Missouri!
