Marvin van der Made signs at University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Kentucky

KingsTalent is delighted to announce that once again a great talent makes the transfer to the USA. VV Capelle forward Marvin van der Made transfers to the University of the Cumberlands men’s soccer team. The productive striker has been playing at Capelle from age 5 and holds the record for youngest first appearance in the first senior team (age 17). In 2015 Marvin started his undergraduate studies Global Marketing & Sales in The Netherlands, which he will continue at the University of the Cumberlands in the Business Administration program.

With his 6′ 7” the 20-year old Marvin is a striker who is comfortable with the ball on his feet and also shows excellent technique. In combination with his technical skills he is a player who shows great composure and who is a real team player. His greatest quality, however, is scoring goals. In the VV Capelle youth teams as well as in the senior teams Marvin is known to be a goal scoring machine. At the KingsTalent showcase, 6 January 2018, he exhibited this quality with this excellent goal:

With the signing of Marvin the University of the Cumberlands not only transfers in a true goal scorer, but also a player who has been part of very successful youth teams in the past. With his VV Capelle youth academy teams Marvin won promotion no less then 6 times in his career! His achievements didn’t go unnoticed. Marvin was selected for the KNVB regional ‘talent teams’ on multiple occasions.
Although his adventure in the US will commence in August 2018, KingsTalent hereby wished him the best of luck and a lot of success in the USA.
