Margaux began her athletic journey at a dance academy and briefly played basketball before discovering her love for field hockey. Just one month after picking up a stick, she chose to become a goalkeeper. In 2022, she joined the Martin Drijvers Goalie Academy to further develop her skills. Margaux plays at the highest level within her club and regularly trains with the First Senior Women’s Team. She has already earned three Player of the Match awards this season and is currently part of the French U18 national team, which is preparing for the 2025 European Championship.
Born in France, Margaux has lived in New York, Canada, and the Netherlands due to her international background. This multicultural experience has shaped her into a curious, socially engaged, and empathetic individual. Her teammates and friends describe her as someone with positive energy, a strong sense of responsibility, and a relentless drive to grow. Margaux is highly organized, loves competition, and always puts the team first.
At Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), Margaux will join the Dutch-influenced Penmen field hockey team. She is following her dream of studying and playing hockey in the U.S., making it a natural next step in her globally inspired journey. Margaux brings impressive qualities to the team: she excels in slidings and block tackles, has a strong tactical understanding of the game, and communicates effectively from the goal. With her arrival, SNHU adds a well-rounded goalkeeper to the roster who will undoubtedly raise the level of the team. The Penmen compete in the Northeast-10 Conference, facing opponents such as Saint Anselm College, Assumption University, and Bentley University.
We wish Margaux the best of luck and lots of fun at Southern New Hampshire University!
